Aims and Scope
Mission
The journal "Law and Sciences" (Pravo ta nauky) is dedicated to advancing legal scholarship in Ukraine and integrating national research into the international research community. The journal provides an open platform for the dissemination of research findings in the fields of law and international law.
Objectives
The main objectives of the journal are:
- publication of original research in the fields of law and international law;
- fostering scholarly debate on pressing legal issues;
- supporting early-career researchers and ensuring access to quality academic communication;
- disseminating legal research findings to the academic community and practitioners;
- upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity.
Thematic Scope
The journal publishes articles in two specialties:
D8 — Law: constitutional, administrative, civil, criminal, commercial, financial, labour, environmental, procedural law, theory and history of state and law, philosophy of law, and other branches of national law.
D9 — International Law: public international law, private international law, European Union law, international humanitarian law, international economic law, international human rights protection.
Selection Criteria
The journal accepts original manuscripts that have not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere and that fall within the thematic scope and meet the requirements of the journal. Articles may be theoretical, applied, or review-based in nature. All submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.
